Wineskins

It's not easy making room for new experiences or new ideas in our lives. The Pharisees and Teachers of the Law in Jesus' day found his ideas and way of life as novel and new as well as suspicious. Jesus argued that their way of thinking made it hard for the kingdom of God to enter their world. For Jesus is not an attachment to our set of values. He IS our set of values. That's not always easy to come to terms with.
