Followers of Jesus recognize that they are called to be witnesses within the cultures they find themselves in. This means, through their activities, they display to their world what they have seen and experienced of Jesus. There is no question that this has been the mission of Christians over the centuries. The challenge for us this: In 2023, how do we reach out to another culture in a Jesus-shaped way? When we consider the Apostle Paul's interaction with the philospher's of Athens, if we really want to engage people of another culture, we need to put ourselves in their shoes.
